Students build Southside Parade Float
Southside students created a Parade Float for the Downtown Lexington Christmas Parade 2023!
Principal Morris envisioned this float as a multi-year, interdisciplinary project! Check out the process!
Welding students fabricated the trailer frame & the star and installed the hitch for Ratchet, our ambulance!
Electrical students wired the trailer lights and the Grinch and conduit bent the character frames!
Carpentry students built the trailer floor and the frames!
Students from ALL programs collaborated to pomp and decorate the float!
STLP students presented and publicized the float at their Regional competition!
